Kvinna till Kvinna: Who we are

The Kvinna till Kvinna Foundation

The Kvinna till Kvinna Foundation promotes women’s rights in 20 conflict-affected countries in the Middle East, Africa, Europe and the South Caucasus. We do so by supporting more than 110 partner organisations across the world, doing advocacy and promoting research.

We have 25 years of expertise in women’s rights, peace and security, and conflict resolution.

Our policies

We believe in transparency, responsibility and accountability. Read more about our policies, or submit a complaint if you suspect any misconduct.

Our history

Kvinna till Kvinna was founded in 1993 in Sweden, as a response to reports of mass rapes in the wars in Former Yugoslavia. Since then, we have grown considerably.

Our partner organisations

We support more than 110 local women's rights organisations in the MENA region, Africa, Europe and the South Caucasus.

Our publications

Each year, we publish an annual report in English and Swedish. We also regularly publish research reports and info brochures, and share our partners' publications.
